All you need to know about WordCamp Singapore 2017

General

This is the 2nd time we’ve ran WordCamp Singapore in recent years. We’ve got a great bunch of speakers, not all from WordPress related business. There are people speaking from big enterprises such as Google, WordPress big names such as Automattic & Human Made and local & international WordPress businesses alike.

There are 3 events namely

  • Conference Day (28 Oct)
  • Afterparty (28 Oct Evening)
  • Contributor & Workshop Day (29 Oct)

All venue information can be found by reading the Venue page

Conference Day

Registration starts 8.30am and there will be light refreshments served, so just come early and chit-chat! Talks will begin 9 am sharp!

We have 3 great rooms for 2 tracks of talks (12 speakers from all around the world and 8 local ones) and a main hall for networking, food and visiting the sponsor booths!

See the conference schedule here

Afterparty

At the end of the conference day, we’ll be providing some light refreshments right at the convention center.

After which, we’ll adjourn to the afterparty location which is about a 5 mins walk.

Alcohol will served there but we’ll ensure that there are soft drinks for non-drinkers. Everyone who has bought a ticket is welcome!

Contributor & Workshop Day

Contributor Days are held in many WordCamps across the world but this is the first time we’re doing that in Singapore.

This is a day for people to just bring their laptops, sit down and contribute back to the WordPress project. No experience is needed.

We’re also running 2 workshops for the first time to get more people into WordPress!

Read more about the Contributor & Workshop Day here.

WIFI

High speed wifi is available for free throughout the convention area.
