Hailing from Zurich, Switzerland, he&#8217;s a partner at Human Made, one of the top-tier global WordPress agencies (and partner of the WordPress.com VIP Programme).<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;ll be speaking about how to succeed in working with WordPress, and getting involved with the WordPress community.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"wcorg-speaker-post\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/91e9bc09537571cdf095331c64b112ae?s=128&amp;d=identicon&amp;r=g\" alt=\"Roxanne Chia\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Roxanne Chia<\/strong> is a Singapore-based beauty blogger, ex-lecturer, and educator.<\/p>\n<p>She will be speaking about how being an educator changed the way she blogs about beauty.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"wcorg-speaker-post\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/13dcfc284d916a2bfc735bf521943ed2?s=128&amp;d=identicon&amp;r=g\" alt=\"Dat Hoang\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dat Hoang<\/strong>, from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, helps with WPML, the WordPress Multilingual Plugin.<\/p>\n<p>He will be speaking about how WPML organises their customer support policies, earning the love and loyalty of their customers.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"wcorg-speaker-post\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/d8f0f0c373f0a341534d6fed9d6c8421?s=128&amp;d=identicon&amp;r=g\" alt=\"Hedren Sum\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hedren Sum<\/strong> is a librarian at Singapore&#8217;s very own Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Libraries.<\/p>\n<p>He will be sharing on how he used WordPress to create a digital research archive that  helps to engage different interest groups on intangible heritage, which covers languages, festivals, cuisines and traditional craftsmanship.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"wcorg-speaker-post\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/ad803853cedbc7d7e30a5b0613c72161?s=128&amp;d=identicon&amp;r=g\" alt=\"Mahangu Weerasinghe\" class=\"avatar\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mahangu Weerasinghe<\/strong>, from Colombo, Sri Lanka, has been using WordPress since version 0.70. He works at Automattic as a Happiness Engineer.<\/p>\n<p>He will be speaking about how WordPress is hackable by design, and show, with examples, how easy it is for non-developers to break into WordPress coding.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"wcorg-speaker-post\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/567e1272bd038860f64c3c1c8dd5dfdb?s=128&amp;d=identicon&amp;r=g\" alt=\"Shinichi Nishikawa\" class=\"avatar\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Shinichi Nishikawa<\/strong>, who currently lives in Ogijima, Japan, not only works with big clients from all around the world, but also contributes to the WordPress project in various ways.<\/p>\n<p>He will speak about how high traffic blogs, media websites, and e-commerce shops offload their services from WordPress to platform providers such as Google and Amazon Web Services.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"wcorg-speaker-post\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/2610cb273687bef24db0c95203be4ae2?s=128&amp;d=identicon&amp;r=g\" alt=\"Dandreb John Bitanghol\" class=\"avatar\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dandreb John Bitanghol<\/strong> (also known as <strong>Dreb Bits<\/strong>), from Davao, Philippines, is a web engineer at 10up, where he focuses on building and supporting WordPress.com VIP sites.<\/p>\n<p>He will be speaking about the advantages of using and adding hooks, and how using them helps with large codebases.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"wcorg-speaker-post\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/a9253565cd7a0a613c1147db0e66e6f0?s=128&amp;r=pg&amp;d=mm\" alt=\"Rahul Bansal\" class=\"avatar\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rahul Bansal<\/strong>, from Pune, India, started India\u2019s first WordPress-only agency, rtCamp, in 2009, and he has been involved in open-source WordPress projects such as rtMedia and EasyEngine.<\/p>\n<p>He will be sharing a story about how rtCamp used innovative methods to hire passionate people, some challenges they&#8217;ve faced, and how they have nurtured a culture of giving back to open source.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/2016.singapore.wordcamp.org\/speakers\/\">the Speakers page<\/a> to learn more about each of them.
