Hazrul Azhar Jamari is currently the Team Leader (Server), Software Engineer at Stream Media Pte Ltd, and a Founder and Director at ALM Group Pte Ltd. Hazrul envisioned a WordCamp Singapore two years ago, and has been leading the Singapore WordPress User Group for the interim in the past 2 years. He has been a strong advocate of using WordPress since 2007 and has released many sites on WordPress since then. He also blogs in his realm at http://www.abanghazrul.com.
Philip Arthur Moore is a WordPress Developer and his dream comes true when he joins Automattic as a Theme Wrangler. Ric Shreves is a web applications consultant and author. He’s been building CMS websites since 1999 and is currently a partner at water&stone, a full service design agency based in Bali, Indonesia. Yan Mingfei works in Microsoft as a developer evangelist, currently focusing on HTML5, Windows Azure and Windows Phone development. She blogs about technology on spiffy.sg and she tweets a lot (@mingfeiy). Prior to Microsoft,Mingfei worked in a B2B e-commerce start up in New York, which powers the deal platform for Mastercard, Yahoo and Living Social. Mingfei graduated from Carnegie Mellon with Distinction, with a master degree in Information Systems.
Fang Shihan is the money guy at New Nation, a site that pokes fun at the news. This essentially means she tries to make money off the site, minimize the bleeding. When she’s not looking out for strange happenings for the editors to blog about, she tries to shorten her lifespan by doing triathlons and other extreme sports. http://newnation.sg.
Simon Lim is a technology consultant based in Kuala Lumpur. Loves to work on web specializing on WordPress development, user experience, web performance and security since 2007. He also organised the first WordCamp Malaysia and local WordPress meetup. He has also contributed to a number of community driven project like 15Malaysia, The Pixel Project, Undilah Malaysia to a name a few.
C.S.Ling has been a web-designer for more than a decade and started writing online “journal” before the word “blog” took shape. She eventually started to “blog” on her personal site using Greymatter (the original opensource weblogging software) back in 2001. Fast-forward to today, she is a conservation photographer who leverage on her expertise in nature/wildlife photography, web-design and social media, to raise awareness about the beauty of Nature and the environmental issues that threaten it. She is also named Nikon Singapore Professional Photographer, SanDisk Extreme Team member & IEPA International Environmental Photography Association member. Preetam Rai runs peer-learning events in South East Asia.  He talks about technology and its impact on our lives via stories that he collects in his travels. He is an  Apple distinguished educator. He  designs and facilitates technology programs for educators and non-profits. Preetam is on his way to giving 40 technology presentations all over Asia this year.
Murray Bourne was a teacher in secondary schools in Australia for some years. He was in Broken Hill (outback Australia) and then Grafton (northern NSW).

He then moved to Japan where he taught mathematics (in English) for 4 years in an interesting program that prepared Japanese students for college courses in the USA. The students would spend one year improving their English, followed by one year doing a typical freshman program, then off they would go to small mid-West colleges. He also taught English while in Japan.
On returning to Australia, he taught in TAFE (Technical and Further Education), Bond University and Griffith University.

Murray then moved to Singapore where he taught engineering mathematics in a polytechnic. He is now doing staff training in the same institution.

His main site is Interactive Mathematics, which is a series of math tutorials enhanced by interactive Flash, java and javascript applets.

Joseph Chin is a systems architect and web developer originally from Canada and now working in Singapore. He has worked for a number of proprietary software companies over the past 15 years but now counts open-source as his preferred software choice. Joseph develops mainly on the Drupal platform but has recently started exploring WordPress as another solution offering for his customers. He is also a member of the Singapore Drupal Meetup Group and is actively involved in organizing the first Singapore DrupalCamp on March 3, 2012.
Stefano has an Italian degree in communication design and moved to Singapore in 2006. He is in the training line since the year 2000. He has been teaching mostly 2D graphic design and photography post production. Later on, he further specialized in video editing, 2D and 2.5D animation.

Besides the solid background in training, he also owned an design studio in Italy and directed both Ultimate Video Fx as well as VOX. That placed him in the position of combining theory to practical work experience.

Stefano have been certified competent in the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) Trainer®, Assessor® and Developer® Facilitated Learning.

    We should have a Singapore speaker as well. Is there already one?

    Or a chap whom started using wp for a few months and had gain good mileage from it.
